Reversing Chain Transfer Device which utilizes 50# Roller Chains which are elevated between Load Carrying Rollers to transfer product "off" or "onto" the conveyor and can operate in both directions to service the Right or Left Hand side of the conveyor. This unit is an integral part of a Power Live Roller (PLR), Power Accumulating Roller Conveyor (PARC), or "Power-Adaptable" Non-Power Conveyor.
Chain Transfer Device Specifications
Chain Bars: Cold rolled, oil impregnated steel support bar with 3/16'' captive side plates and 2-3/4'' dia. idler sprockets on each end. All bars have individual vertical adjustment.
Sideframe: 5'' x 6.7# Structural Channel with 1/4'' x 2-1/2'' "Drop-In" Roller Support Bar.
- Roller spacing around chain bars is 4-1/2'', 3'' on all remaining rollers.
- (Optional) Structural Angle Sideframes are available to reduce the gap between the Transfer Conveyor and the Chain Bar. This option is specifically designed for small blank transfer.
Drive & Idler Shafts: Two 1-1/4'' dia. Shafts run the full length of the device and are mounted in precision pillow block bearings. Both shafts have adjustment screws for individual tensioning of the Chains Bars.
Lift Assembly: Four 6'' dia. Air Mounts (8' long units have eight Mounts) secured to a tubular subframe to support the chain bars and elevate the bars. Plumbing for the Lift is 3/8 '' Black Iron pipe which is factory installed.
Drive: 1 HP totally enclosed industrial rated 1750 rpm gear motor with reversing capability. Drive package located within and under the device.
Speed: 30, 45, 60, or 90 fpm available.
Preassembly: Unit is an integral part of the Conveyor Midsection and plumbed to a junction box at the factory.
Conveyor Height: 12'' TOR minimum with Leg and Device Extensions available for other heights.
Capacity: 5,000 lbs. maximum.
Voltage: System voltage is 230/460 volt, 3 phase, 60 hertz with 115 volts, single phase control voltage.
